Formally the Kamehameha Schools Mele Collection; the Hawaiʻi Collection of Midkiff Learning Center now houses the mele collection.

This cultural center promotes Pacific Indigenous knowledge and worldviews. Many mele are unpacked through lyrics and interpretation by Native Hawaiian cultural practitioners.
